Connections
Connections will be a central feature of BookConnections: browse networks of characters, places, events, items, and lore.
Planned ways to explore
- Character ↔ character: family, alliances, conflict, and other supported relationships
- Character ↔ place: residence, travel, and important scenes
- Character ↔ event: participation and consequences
- Item ↔ character: ownership, use, and association
- Event ↔ event: causal and chronological connections
- Cross-book and cross-series connections where supported
Spoiler-aware exploration
The goal is to filter relationships to material a reader has reached. The current Quartz graph does not automatically provide account-based or chapter-aware spoiler filtering. That will require custom development and careful metadata.
For now, basic Quartz links and backlinks will help us test the underlying information network.
